'Lovely Bed and Breakfast'. 5 of 5 stars. Nov 29, 2011. "We had a wonderful stay at the Coombs Inn. Everyone was very welcoming and cordial. The breakfasts were lovely. The decor is beautifully restored and the history is so interesting. We would recommend the Coombs Inn to anyone visiting the area! " Barbara Johnson and Ed Dennison. Clearwater, FL.
'Florida's Hidden Bed & Breakfast.' 5 of 5 stars. Jan 25, 2011. "Nice, very personal service. Lovely old house in the Real Florida (note the capital R and F!). The environment is nice also - you can walk to shops and restaurants that are not chains. The shopkeepers are there, as opposed to some apathetic kid, and they are engaged and friendly. Speaking of friendly, the innkeeper at the Coombs House Inn was very nice and took the time to teach us about the area, the house and its history."-chofack, Tallahassee, FL.

'Beautiful Inn, great hosts, fabulous breakfast!' 5 of 5 stars. Jan 1, 2011. "The Coombs Inn is a lovely southern Inn, beautifully furnished. The roaring fire in the lobby brought a warm welcoming feel to the cool December temperatures at that time. The staff were warm and friendly and we felt very welcomed and well looked after. Our room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Afternoon tea, coffee and cookies was a nice touch, and yes the breakfasts were excellent! The inn is easily accessible off of US98 and within walking distance of the downtown and easily accessible to sites in the area. We would highly recommend it." -lindab005, Toronto, Canada.
"We loved our stay at the Coombs House inn. It is in walking distance to shopping and dining in town. Room was clean, staff was completely friendly, let us park at the inn the day we checked out so we could still wander about town. Our room was the Hemingway, which was completely private. We loved our stay at the Coombs House inn...Breakfast was tasty"- April 2008
"We had never been to the panhandle and we live in Ocala! The Inn was perfection, thank you for a lovely stay we were swept away by Apalachicola and St George Island. We'll be back for sure!" Laura & Jeff Allen. Nov. 2011, by email.
'A Great B&B.' 5 of 5 stars. Feb.21, 2011. "By far this is one of the most beautiful B&B's we have ever stayed in and we have been to many...The home has such warmth the innkeeper was great friendly & vary helpful..We most enjoyed our wine a cheese night with the other guest as we met many nice people we have never been to a b&b that has done this before. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a stay in this area..enjoy!!!" -bedandbreakfast.com.
"The most luxurious place around, this large B&B occupies two Victorian homes. The main house was built in 1905 by a lumber baron, and it shows: Polished black-cypress paneling lines the entire central hall and parlor. Each of the 10 guest rooms here is tastefully decorated, with lots of Victorian reproductions. The Coombs Suite (with bay windows, sofa, four-poster bed, and whirlpool tub) is outstanding... The breakfast is not just Danish and coffee, but a home-cooked extravaganza. All rooms are nonsmoking." - Fromers Review NY Times
'Friendly, Immaculate, Charming' "The whole experience was great, from the great staff and the owner, to the delicious breakfast which was always freshly prepared and a departure from the bacon - eggs usual fare. The rooms were lovely and the setting just beautiful". - Feb. 2008 Yahoo Travel Guest Review
