Art imitates life here as Florida's Forgotten Coast Plein Air Invitational hosts the great Plein Air Paint-out, a 10 day open air painting event featuring nationally recognized artists selected to capture the allure of our beaches, marshes, lakes and throughout the streets of waterfront towns from Mexico Beach, Windmark, Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, Apalachicola, Eastpoint, St. George Island, Carrabelle, and inland at Wewahitchka. Presented by the Gulf Alliance for Local Arts, most all activities are free and open to the public. We're hosting one of the artists who paints at dawn and dusk with lights on his easel, as he prefers first and last light as opposed to "overhead light".
